About FRSC :
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is the lead agency in Nigeria on road safety administration and management. It was established in 1988 by Decree No. 45 of 1988 as amended by Decree 35 of 1992.
The FRSC is charged with the responsibility of making the highways safe for motorists and other road users. It does this by:
- Educating drivers and the public on road safety
- Regulating the use of vehicles on the highways
- Enforcing traffic laws and regulations
- Providing rescue and ambulance services to accident victims
- Conducting research into the causes of road accidents and developing ways to prevent them

FRSC Screening Requirements 2024
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) screening requirements for 2023 are as follows:
- Nationality: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
- Age: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years as at December 31, 2022.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’level credits in WASCE/GCE/NECO/SSCE, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Height: Applicants must not be less than 1.65 meters tall for men and 1.60 meters tall for women.
- Chest Girth: Applicants must have a chest girth of not less than 86 centimeters for men and 80 centimeters for women.
- Visual Acuity: Applicants must have a visual acuity of 6/6 in both eyes.
- Physical Fitness: Applicants must be physically fit and in good health.
In addition to the above Requirements, applicants must also:
- Be of Good Character and have no criminal record.
- Be Mentally and Emotionally Stable.
- Be able to Speak and write fluent English.
- Be willing to Serve in any part of Nigeria.
Applicants who meet all of the above requirements will be shortlisted for the FRSC screening exercise. The screening exercise will consist of a physical fitness test, a medical test, and a document verification test.
Applicants are advised to prepare for the FRSC screening exercise by practicing answering common interview questions and by getting in good physical condition.
