JPSC Medical Officer Syllabus 2024 Pdf – MO, AO, Scientific Officer & District Sports Officer, Exam Pattern :- The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) conducts a competitive examination to recruit Medical Officers in the state of Jharkhand. Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination is an objective-type test that consists of 100 questions. The questions are divided into two sections: General Knowledge and Law. The General Knowledge section consists of questions on current affairs, history, geography, economics, politics, science, and technology. The Law section consists of questions on the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the Contract Act, 1872, the Transfer of Property Act, 1882, the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, and the Limitation Act, 1963.
Main Examination
The Main Examination is a subjective-type test that consists of four papers. The papers are as follows:
- Paper I: Law of Procedure (The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, and The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973)
- Paper II: Substantive Law (The Indian Penal Code, 1860, The Contract Act, 1872, The Transfer of Property Act, 1882, The Indian Evidence Act, 1872, and The Limitation Act, 1963)
- Paper III: General Knowledge and Language Comprehension
- Paper IV: Essay
Interview
The Interview is conducted by a panel of experts. The interview is intended to assess the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role of a Civil Judge.
Selection Process
Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination. Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for an interview. The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview.
