SSC GD Constable 2024 – Notification to be out on 24th November 2023 :- SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission. It is a central government organization responsible for conducting recruitment examinations for various posts in the Government of India and its subordinate offices. SSC GD Constable Final Marks for 2024 cycle has been declared on 20th September 2023. Candidates can download their SSC GD Constable final score card till 10th October 2023 only. SSC GD Constable Notification 2023 to be out on 24h November, 2024 Candidates can apply online between 24th November, 2023 to 28th December, 2023. The SSC conducts the GD Constable Examination is held to appoint candidates for various forces like Special Security Force (SSF), Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Rifleman in Assam Rifles Commission, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. Read further to get all the important details.
- 40,274 vacancies for males and 4835 for females have been considered for allocation (except NCB, where vacancies are combined for male and female candidates.
- The SSC GD Constable Selection Process is based on Computer Based Exam (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical Examination.
- The SSC GD CBE will consist of one objective type of paper. A total duration of 60 minutes will be given to attempt the CBE.
- For Sepoy in NCB, the pay scale will be between Rs. 18000 and Rs. 56900 as per level 1, and for all other posts, the pay scale will be between Rs. 21700 and Rs. 69100 as per level 3.

Physical Efficiency Test
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the SSC GD Constable exam is a physical test that assesses the candidate’s fitness level and ability to perform the duties of a Constable in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The PET consists of the following tests:
- 1600 meter race: The candidate must complete the 1600 meter race in a specified time. The time limit for male candidates is 6 minutes and 30 seconds, and for female candidates, it is 8 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Long jump: The candidate must jump a minimum distance of 3.66 meters for male candidates and 2.74 meters for female candidates.
- Shot put: The candidate must throw a shot put a minimum distance of 4.57 meters for male candidates and 3.65 meters for female candidates.
All three tests must be completed successfully in order to qualify for the next stage of the selection process.

SSC GD Constable Medical Test
The SSC GD Constable Medical Test is a medical examination conducted to ensure that candidates are physically and mentally fit to serve the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The medical test is conducted by a board of doctors and includes the following examinations:

Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
The CBE is a 90-minute objective test with a total of 100 questions. The test covers four sections:

The SSC GD Salary is governed by the 7th Central Pay Commission. The basic pay for SSC GD Constable ranges from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month, depending on the rank and pay scale. In addition to the basic pay, SSC GD Constables are also entitled to a number of allowances, including:
